The Best Way to Repel Life’s Challenges, ‘Taqwa’

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed piety the best way to confront the challenges of life in his sermon of Friday July 15, 2016 in Zahedan, Iran.
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan urged on piety in all aspects of life and said, “We live in a world which is full of various kinds of crises and enmities. In this world, all people, particularly the ones who go on the path of Deen (Islam), Shari’ah and temperance face the temptations of seen and unseen evils always.”
Pointing out to the solution, he said, “In order to get rid of such temptations and enmities, the Lord of the Universe has enjoined us to seek refuge from Him. The Almighty has sent down the last two chapters of the Qur’an for that purpose.”
“Taqwa means imitating all orders and commands of the Almighty and avoiding misdeeds and whatever is forbidden by Him. Iman, reliance on Allah, establishing prayers, paying Zakat, patience and tolerance, respecting the rights of Allah and His servants are the signs of piety and Taqwa,” the eminent Islamic scholar added more.
He further said, “Taqwa brings the support of Allah. The Sublime has promised and enunciated to send the pious people to the Paradise; ‘أَلَا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ*الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ*لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ Now surely the friends of Allah- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve. Those who believe and guarded (against evil): They shall have good news in this world’s life and in the hereafter’; the pious people are safe from fear and grief in the both worlds. They have a peaceful life in the mortal and immortal worlds.”
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan termed ‘faith’ and ‘piety’ the most obvious symbols of the friends of Allah and said, “Iman and Taqwa (faith & piety) are two pivots which make people friends of the Almighty. Taqwa is the best way to eliminate challenges and inequalities. All prophets and esteemed of the Almighty got prosperity by piety.”
Concluding his points, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined, “Piety is a shield before the unwanted issues that attracts the divine supports. If we fear Allah and seek His refuge in difficult times, we will be secured of all kinds of anxieties, challenges and crises. Thus get ready for the Hereafter life; all of us have no choice but to enter the grave and death.”
