In a letter to King Salman, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid has asked him to facilitate the way for the Iranian pilgrims for Hajj in this year.
According to a report of the official website of the office of Friday imam in Zahedan, Iran, it has been cleared in the letter of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid: “As the people of Iran have an ancient civilization, they will never create troubles for the pilgrims of the Holy place. They will carry out the necessary cooperation in the organization of Hajj by realizing the regulations.”
Pointing out to the instable situation of the Muslim world and said: “In the ongoing situation when division and misconception billow in the Muslim world and the enemies want to intensify bickers, absence of the Iranian pilgrims in the Hajj ceremony never meets with the interests of the Muslim Ummah.”
“It is requested to pave the way for the Iranian pilgrims in order to reduce differences, normalize the bilateral relations and reopen the embassies with mutual respect,” in a part of the letter King Salman has been addressed.
The outstanding Iranian Sunni leader underlined in his letter to the Saudi king: “By foresight and open mind of the leaders in the Muslim world, the fire of division would be extinguished and enmity would be replaced by friendship by the blessings of Allah Almighty.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his letter by urging, “It is obvious that if Iran and Saudi Arabia, the two important countries of the Muslim world, unite, they would resolve many crises of the Muslim world.”
