A Muslim Should Always Rely on Allah

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan, Iran, termed ‘relying fully on the Almighty’ along with utilizing other worldly tools one of the obvious exclusivities of any Muslim.
Talking to the Sunni worshipers in the southeastern Iran, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid began his sermon of Jan. 29, 2016 by the recitation of the Qur’anic verse: «إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ» and said, “Allah Almighty has mentioned the importance of “Tawakkol” and relying on Allah. The Sublime calls on Muslims to rely on Him all the time.”
“The real Tawheed is to not rely on the tools, but put them on their due positions and rely fully on the Owner of all tools. Islam teaches us to utilize tools and in the same time rely on the creator of the tools,” he added more.
The eminent Islamic scholar further said, “Unfortunately, when the relations of mankind with Allah gets weak, reliance of human beings turn from God to means and tools. However, a believer should rely and put his trust on the Almighty always. Reliance should be on the one who knows each and every thing and nothing happens without his approval.”
“If we receive any blessing or we suffer from any difficulty with the indulgence of our own deeds and acts, it is only by the approval of the Almighty. We must always supplicate before Allah and seek His help. Allah is closer to His servants than their artery,” he underlined.

Taking help from magicians ‘Haram’
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan decried magic and magicians in a part of his Friday sermon and said, “One of the shocking phenomena in society is magic. Some people adopt the illegal and bad act of magic as a job due to poverty. Poverty forces some people to move towards illegal and Haram acts and jobs. Some start robbery, murder and theft and some others become sorcerers.”
“It is regrettable that some people visit magicians when they suffer from any small difficulty, they forget it is Haram to seek help from magicians. It jeopardizes the faith of people. Even some magic acts remove the faith fully. The magicians should repent to Allah; otherwise they would be deprived from the mercies of the Almighty.”
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to “Ta’weez” (amulet) and said, “I don’t say amulet is Haram and illegal. But we should put our trust on the Almighty in difficulties and crises. The first chapter and the last two chapters of the Noble Qur’an are the best prays which should be recited for different diseases and magic. The beloved prophet, peace be upon him, used to blew upon his body and recite the last two chapters.”
In the last part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid once again called on the Guardian Council to qualify more registered candidates of the Majlis elections. He said, “The GC should show more foresight and a wider chest over the case. We hope to hear happy news about the confirmation of candidates in the upcoming days.”
He welcomed the European trip of president Rouhani, saying, “The Iranian nation had suffered from all kinds of sanctions and showed tolerance. In the sanctions-post period, there must be economic progress and development.”
