Fourth Seerah Conference Held in Zahedan

The Association of Seerah held its fourth conference in the Grand Othmani Masjid of Zahedan, southeastern Iran, on Wednesday evening, Dec. 16, 2015 discussing the training aspects of the prophetic life.
The correspondents of ‘SunniOnline’, the official website of the Sunni community in Iran reported that the fourth conference of the Seerah Association was held in the presence of a huge number of Islāmic scholars and intellectuals from Sistan-Baluchistan. The topic was studying the nurturing and training aspects of the prophetic life.
In the first session of the conference, the selected articles were presented. Then the chief guests talked to the audience.

Hafedh Saleh: explaining oneness of Allah the common point of all prophets
The prominent preacher and active in Da’wah and Tabligh, Mawlana Hafedh Mohammad-Kareem Saleh was the first lecturer. He said, “In all times, prophets called on Tawheed and oneness of Allah with their own methods. The way of cultivating the tenets was a common point among the prophets.”
He termed ‘recognition of Allah’ and ‘believing in Resurrection Day’ the two main factors in training the human beings and desisting from sins.

Mufti Qasemi: Only through the Last Messenger we can reach to Allah
For his part, Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, the head of Darul-Iftaa Darululoom Zahedan and chief editor of NedayIslam magazine termed organizing of Seerah conferences the need of the society.
He said, “Upbringing and purification are the objects of prophets. Our society suffers from lack of purification. Reaching to this point is possible only through the imitation of the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.”
Shaikh Qasemi alluded to some indicators of training in the prophetic life, saying ‘creation of the sense of responsibility’, ‘gradually upbringing’, ‘taking the matters easily’, ‘softness’, ‘patience’, ‘creating confidence’ and ‘being an example for others’ are the main factors in the training aspects of the prophetic life.

Shaikh-ul-Islam: Prophet Muhammad, an unexampled leader
The last lecturer and chief guest of the Seerah conference was Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the rector ofDarululoom Zahedan and chairman of the Coordination Council for Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan.
He said, “The prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the greatest blessing of Allah Almighty on the Muslim Ummah. All prophets used to be proud of our prophet, peace be upon him. He was an unexampled leader in outward and inwardbeauties.”
The member of the Supreme Council of MWL affirmed, “Islam is not the religion of slogans; rather it is the religion ofreason and sagacity. It is the religion of act not words.”
Pointing out to the crises of the Muslim world, he underlined, “There is a weak connection between Muslims and the beloved prophet, peace be upon him. We should act on the Sunnah and traditions of the prophet in order to make ourselves beloved to Allah.”
Urging on the aims of studying the prophetic life, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined, “Study of Seerah should not be for getting more information, but we should study the life of the prophet, peace be upon him, to act upon his directions.”
In the last part of the conference, the writers and poets of 28 article and poems on the topic of the conference were honored. It was announced 127 articles and poems had been received by the secretariat of the association.
