Black Lie of “Jomhuri Islami” Newspaper on Sh. Abdol-Hamid

Following the release of a biased report in “Jomhuri Islami” newspaper, (issue No. 10473 on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015) about the wedding ceremony of the son of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid on “Arba’een Day”, the office of Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan denied the content of this news.
The newspaper, quoting “the news sources in Zahedan”, wrote in its News Page: “The governor of Sistan-Baluchistan, the city governor of Zahedan and some provincial authorities took part in the wedding ceremony of the son of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid which was held during the Arba’een Hosseini (the fortieth day after Ashura).”
Unfortunately, the newspaper of “Jomhuri Islami” has claimed the marriage ceremony of the son of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid had been held on “Arba’een” while it was held two days after it on Friday night, Dec. 4, 2015 (23rd Safar).
It is worth noting that some provincial officials, including Ayatollah Suleimani, the representative of the supreme leader in the province and Friday Imam of Zahedan, Mr. Hashemi, the provincial governor, the city governor, mayor of Zahedan and some other officials were present in the ceremony.
As well as, News Agency of Baseej, that has many bases in the region and claims to be related with common people, has released this false and prejudiced news, too. The fake reports were the cause for the demolition of a Sunni prayer-room in Tehran; an incident that made Sunni citizens worried.
It is expected the media would show more precision in publishing news and do not cause harm the atmosphere of unity and brotherhood in the region.
