The introduction ceremony of the new Sunni students in the Zahedan universities was held by the office of students’ affairs in Darululoom Zahedan on Thursday evening, 12-19 November, 2015.
According to “SunniOnline”, the introduction ceremony of the new students in Zahedan universities held by the presence of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid and a number of Darululoom Zahedan teachers.
Mawlana Abdul-Hameed, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan welcomed the students and said:
– Students are looking for a wealth which differs from the other worldly assets; intellectual ability is the highest ability.
– The world and hereafter will be made by the modern and traditional Islamic knowledges. The Westerns have one science; it has changed their world.
– The highest development is that the man is purified and beloved by Allah.
– Students should learn science to serve people and humanity; the goal should not be just making money or setting up an office. The personal interests should not be the aim, but the general interests should be considered.
– A society wherein the modern sciences are at the side of science of Shari’ah, that society will be the best society. If we want change, we must give attention to the Islamic sciences as well as modern science.
– The secret of victory of the prophet, peace be upon him, and the companions is in science; the prophet offered a science wherewith he purified people and made their world and the Hereafter.
– University can change people and society, but all need to bow before the Qur’an and Sunnah in order to get their appropriate position.
– Youth are carrying a message that they received from the Qur’an and Sunnah; you have a message for the Americans, Europeans and whole people of the world. You have a message of faith and morality for them, you must invite them to advancement of the world and hereafter.
– The Noble Qur’an is the eternal miracle of the prophet. It challenges all people of the world. Your all needs have been mentioned in the Qur’an.
– You must be familiar with the words and meanings of the Qur’an. It causes the growth of your talent.
– Practice upon the directions of Islam and the prophet, peace be upon him.
– You should not miss prayer under any circumstances. You should respect human and consider their dignity.
– You must avoid sins seriously; good people are close to Allah and sinners are close to Satan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Yaqoub Shahbakhsh, a MA student of Sistan & Baluchistan University presented an article.
Habibullah Marjani, one of the officials in Darululoom Zahedan’s office for the affairs of university students, welcomed the new students in the ongoing academic year. He mentioned the purpose of establishing the Office of Student Affairs and said, “Every communication follows a purpose. Our goal is to discover hidden talents of students. We want the spiritual connections to be transmitted to universities as well as the academic sciences should be transmitted to seminaries. This meeting is the beginning of a targeted communication”.
A week later, an introduction ceremony was held for the female Sunni students in Sayyidah Ayishah Seminary, a seminary of female students next to Darululoom Zahedan.
