Conditions of Muslim Countries’ Refugees ‘Very Painful’

The eminent Iranian Sunni leader termed the overall conditions of the Muslim states ‘exceptional and regrettable’ in a part of his Friday sermon on Sep. 18, 2015.

Talking to tens of thousands worshippers in Zahedan, Iran, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, “The Muslim world is experiencing an exceptional period. Conflicts and interior clashes caused thousands to seek refuge in other safe states; it is very shocking and painful to Muslim refugees heading towards European states in regretful condition”.
Blaming the so called ‘super powers’ for the ongoing problems, he said, “Unfortunately the super powers and UN do nothing to stop wars and conflicts and bring the rival groups together on the table of negotiation; rather they add fuel to the fire of wars and interior conflict”.
“The Western and Eastern powers; the US and Russia do not intend to resolve the world crises, instead they want to obtain their interests by deteriorating the crises. The participation of the Eastern and Western powers in wars and disputes has a very negative consequences for the region and Muslim world”, the member of the supreme council of MWL underlined.
Addressing Muslims of the Muslim states, he said, “Muslims should sit together and find out the solutions of their problems and disputes by negotiation and dialogue. It is the way to terminate the pains and crises of the Muslim world. It was expected to see Muslim Ulama and intellectuals in the scene to end the crises as much as they can, but they are not much active in this regard. The OIC could not do anything as well”.

Israel misuses the critical situation of Muslim states
Shaikh further said, “The UN and some other powerful states who claim to manage the world, despite capabilities, they did nothing to stop wars but added fuel to the fire. The sinister Zionists have intensified their pressures on the Palestinian Muslims. The Zionist PM ordered his troops to respond stones by bullets!”
“The occupying regime of Israel misuses the current disassembled conditions of the Muslim states and their civil wars; they want to revenge from Muslims and get their control”, imam of the Grand Makki Masjid added more.
He asked the Muslim leaders and rulers to distribute power in their countries justly, recognize the rights of each other and unify more.

Equipping children with education, a national duty
The outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar alluded to the season of opening schools and colleges in Iran, saying, “The statistics on education downfall in Baluchistan and Zahedan (Iran) is very really shocking. I’d like to request parents to give more importance to the education of their children. They should get high education in colleges and universities; it needs parents to be intent”.
He underlined, “Education makes mankind valuable. Advancement of the both worlds is impossible without education and knowledge. So education of children is a national duty of us. Families should remain in touch with educational institutes of their children”.

Martyrs of Haram got a great felicity
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid expressed his regret on the crane accident occurred in Makkah al-Mukarramah in the last Friday. He said, “The accident of Makkah, where dozens of pilgrims martyred was very painful”.
He termed the martyrdom of pilgrims a ‘great bliss’ and said, “Although it was very sorrowful and tragic for us and other Muslims, but undoubtedly the martyrs of Makkah have achieved a ‘great bliss’; some of them were buried in Makkah and some others in Baqee’ graveyard of Madinah”.

Authorities in Water and Energy departments must control prices
At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan pointed out to public complaints about high charges on utility bills in the region and said, “Complaints have been receiving about the high charges on utility bills of electricity and water. The region is suffering from unemployment and economic crises; it has made payment of such bills difficult for common people”.
“The prices of such basic needs of people must not be much expensive as they remain deprived from such blessings. So the pertinent authorities should notice the case and control the heavy charges”, he concluded his points.
