Protect ‘Achievements’ of Ramadan

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on exercising non-obligatory worships after Ramadan, calling on the audience to protect the achievements of Ramadan.

Talking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan on Friday 24 July 2015, the Friday Imam and Khateeb of Sunnis said, “The blessing month of Ramadan has been over. Now we must preserve and save the achievements of this great month; otherwise there would not be any effects of Ramadan in our lives”.
“The biggest achievement of Ramadan is establishment of prayers. During Ramadan Masjids were full of worshipers; they used to offer prayers, recite the Noble Qur’an and remember Allah by Dhikr. People used to donate a lot. All these good deeds are not only for Ramadan; we should keep worshiping Allah by such deeds after Ramadan too”, he added more.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined, “Ramadan taught us to keep offering prayers during the whole year, support needy people and always remember Allah. We must offer Tahajjod prayers after Ramadan, too. There are many blessings in Tahajjod for us”.
“We should resist the two stubborn enemies, Satan and the self (nafs). These enemies always struggle to incite us to commit sins and misdeeds. Satan and the self are the enemies of us and the Almighty in one time. By acting on the directions of Shari’ah, we can make a stand against those enemies,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said.

Ethnic, sectarian clashes the worst in the world
In another part of his sermon, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out to ethnic and religious disputes and said, “Undoubtedly, the ethnic and sectarian clashes are the worst clashes and conflicts in the world. The enemies of Islam want to create disputes and make busy Muslim sects and ethnic communities with sectarian clashes. We should be vigilant.”
“If anyone kills any innocent person, he should be tried and responsible for what has done not his entire family and tribe. The relatives of both the families of slain and murderer as well as the pertinent officials must try to arrest the killer and hand him over to the judiciary authorities for trial. Tribal clashes are against Islam, wisdom and one tradition of the ignorant era,” he added more.
Ending his points, the chairman of the Fiqh Assembly of Sunnis in Iran called on youth to learn any good profession. He said, “The authorities of the Technical and Vocational Training Organization provide good opportunities to train youth freely. Then they can earn honorably and support their families.”
