24th Annual Graduation Ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan

The first session of the 24th annual graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan was started officially on Saturday morning, 16 May 2015 in Zahedan, Iran.

Tens of thousands Sunni citizens from different Iranian provinces, mainly Sistan-Baluchistan, Khorasan, Hormozgan and Kurdistan took part in the ceremony. As well as, some senior scholars and intellectuals of Iran participated in the gathering.
A scholar from China (east Turkistan), two scholars from Kyrgyzstan and the top officials of Sistan-Baluchistan, including governor, representative of Ayatollah Khamenei and MPs were some other guests of Darululoom Zahedan.
In the first meeting, Molawi Hamza Rigi, a graduate of Darululoom Zahedan, Hafez Muhammad Karim Saleh, Dr. Mokhtari, Ayatollah Suleimani, Governor Sistan-Baluchistan Engineer Awsat Hashemi, Shaikh Shafi Qureshi, Dr. Ahmad Hashemi and Mawlana Uthman Khashi also talked to participants of the 24th graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan.
Mawlana Hafedh Karim Saleh urged on preaching of Islam to all. He said honor of Muslims lay in calling towards Islam. Muslims should be vigilant as the enemies want to destroy their societies by various tools of vice and misdeeds.
Dr. Mokhtari, head of research office in Taqreeb Assembly of Iran, was another guest; he underlined despite conspiracies of enemies, men and women embrace Islam in the West.
“Muslims should be united. Today Islam is the biggest oppressed in the world,” the Shiite cleric added more.
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan-Baluchistan also talked to the audience and termed sectarian disputes the ‘biggest downfall’ for the Muslim world.
Engineer Ali Awsat Hashemi, the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan also presented a brief speech before thousands of Sunni citizens in Zahedan. He urged on unity, development of the province and called Shaikh Abdol-Hamid a blessing for the region.
Dr. Sayyid Ahmad Hashemi, a prominent Sunni scholar from Fars province, Islam has developed a lot in recent years. This great gathering is the sign of spreading Islamic knowledge and teachings in Iran.
Shaikh Shafi Qureshi, an eminent Sunni scholar in the northwest, termed ‘imprecation’ and ‘curse’ against unity which create obstacles on the path of unity and fraternity of Muslims.
He called on Shiite scholars and Maraje’ to issue fatwa against cursing Sahabah, may Allah be pleased with them, and make it Haram.
In the second term of the ceremony, Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, talked to audience about the great position of Sahabah, may Allah be pleased with them and said, “Although the Companions were not innocent, but they were forgiven and Allah is pleased with them. The forth caliph, Ali bin Abi-Talib says I do not see anyone similar to Sahabah.”
“Sahabah used to worship Allah day and night, preach towards Allah, make Jihad and recite the Noble Qur’an with full attention,” the grand Mufti of Darululoom Zahedan added more.
Kaak Hasan Amini, A Kurdish Sunni scholar from Iranian Kurdistan was a keynote speaker of the 24th graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan. He underlined Islam was the religion of nature. Unity must be on the basis of Tawhid (monotheism).
He asked, “Why Muslims should not tolerate each other? Different sects, groups and parties must tolerate each other.”

Muslims divided as the enemies infiltrated among them
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan was the last lecturer of the ceremony. He said, “Due to serious disputes of Muslims, the enemies could infiltrate among Muslims. They should form unity regimes instead of fighting and launching wars.”
“Sunnis in Iran do not belong to any community or country but to Iran; Iran is their motherland. Thus they should be respected; if the regime trusts on Sunnis’ capable citizens, they will serve their country and at least they would not run outside after embezzlement as some people did,” he added more.
The Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan further said, “The enemies struggle to target youth and women by thousands of websites and satellite TV channels. All should be vigilant.”
He underlined there was not any way for the success of Muslims but to return towards the Qur’an and Sunnah.
At the end, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said we were grateful for cooperation of different departments and authorities and youth squads. He also expressed his regret over absence of some guests who could not attend the graduation ceremony for ‘some reasons’, especially Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Pakistan, whose visa was cancelled a day before his departure.
The 24th annual graduation ceremony of Darululoom Zahedan was concluded by honoring 139 male and 120 female graduates and 40 Hafedh of the Noble Qur’an.
