Shaikh Ab. Hamid Decries Attack on Iranian Guards

Issuing a statement, the outstanding Iranian Sunni leader denounced the recent attack on a convoy of the Iranian border guards in south of Sistan-Baluchistan province.
According to the office of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, he described the attack ‘terrorist action’ that left 8 guards dead on Monday, 6th April, 2015.
In a part of his statement, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “Unfortunately, once again the deceived extremist martyred some brave border guards of our country. I denounce this cowardly action and warn the elements behind such acts to stop creating insecurity in the province. Violence, by any pretext and motivation, is an obstacle in the development of the province and increases the pains and troubles of people.”
At the end, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his condolences with the families of dead guards asking the Almighty for their patience and rewards.
