Qari Abdul-Lateef Passes Away

Zahedan- A prominent Sunni scholar, Qari Abdul-Lateef Baranzahi, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 in Zahedan.

 

According to a report of “SunniOnline.us”, Mawlana Qari Abdul-Lateef was the head of Tajweed-ul-Qur’an Islamic school in the provincial capital of Sistan-Baluchistan. He was one of the famous scholars in Zahedan where he trained many students especially in Tajweed of the Noble Qur’an.
His funeral prayer was offered in the Grand Makki Masjid where hundreds of citizens and scholars took part in his funeral ceremony.
