Condolence Message of Mawlana Abdol-Hamid on the death of Dr. Katouzian

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, Friday Imam of the Sunni community in Zahedan, Iran expressed his regretoverthe deathof Dr. Naser Katouzian. He was 87.

He mourned departure of the‘Father of Law’ in Iran by issuing a condolence message on Sep. 6, 2014 following the death of Dr. Katouzian.

The text of the message is as follows:
The death of Dr. Ameer Naser Katouzian, the Father of Law in Iran,made me regretful.
He played an effective role in the scientific advancement of the country, upbringing educatedlawyers.As well as, he presented valuable scientific and educational services to the society.Undoubtedly, his death is considered a big shock for the Iranian nation.
Iexpress my condolences to the Iranian nation, especially judicial and scientific communities and particularly to his honorable family, too.As I wish mercy and forgiveness for the late deceased, I ask the Almighty to grant the survivors numerous rewards and patience.
