A Missing Student of Darululoom Zahedan Found Dead

Haamed Rigi, a student of Darululoom Zahedan was found dead after being disappeared for more than two weeks near Khash city, central Iranian Baluchistan.

Haamed Rigi (Kubdani), the student of fourth year, went missing after he left Darululoom Zahedan alone on Thursday, 20 March, 2014. Finally, his dead body was found by a herder near Khash city in an outland.
Talking to “SunniOnline”, his brother, Ismael Rigi, says Haamed informed his family about his coming a day before holidays. But next day, he did not reach home as his cellphone was turned off too.

“We looked up everywhere we estimated he might go, we contacted hospitals and official departments, but until the recovery of his dead body we could not get any news about him. He was a good-tempered student; his all classmates and friends confirm he did not have any personal scuffle neither we have any tribal dispute with anyone,” Rigi underlined.

Ismael Rigi told our reporter that his brother was shifted to Khash for postmortem but officials declared autopsy useless. Thus he was shifted to Zahedan for sampling and toxicology. The result will be announced after two months. “We demand the pertinent officials to conduct an unbiased investigation to find the facts about the case of my brother. Currently, due to the release of abducted guards and role of Sunni Ulama in this case, national and international media sources highlight the issues of Sunnis; so we want the officials to notice the sensitivity of the matter,” he added more.

Funeral prayer of Haamed Rigi was offered at the Grand Makki Masjid, in Darululoom Zahedan, today, April 9, 2014 after Dhuhr prayers. He was 20.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid expressed his condolences to the family of the dead student and his friends and teachers in a short speech before offering his funeral. He asked the security and judiciary officials to investigate the case of this student and bring the culprits behind his murder to the justice.
