The Casper drone was seized in the east of Jabalia town in the northeast of the Gaza Strip, Hamas sources told Anadolu Agency Sunday.
The sources gave no further details on how the reconnaissance aircraft had been seized.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee denied the report, saying the drone crashed in the Palestinian territory due to a technical malfunction.
This is not the first time Al-Qassam Brigades announced the seizure of Israeli drones.
Last year, Al-Qassam said its fighters had managed to seize one of two drones they shot down during the 2012 Israeli war on the coastal enclave.
