Meeting on the personality of late Mawlana Abdol-Aziz

“The Society of Notion & Reform” of the students of Darululoom Zahedan, Iran, has held a meeting to introduce the great personality of late Mawlana Abdol-Aziz, the founder of Darululoom Zahedan, inside the main campus of the seminary.

“SunniOnline” reported a group of students of Darululoom Zahedan organized a meeting voluntarily on Thursday, 3rd Oct. 2013 by the motto of ‘Seminarian Meeting to Highlight Thoughts, Services, and Cognition of the Notional and Personal Angles of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him.’

The meeting was kicked off after Asr prayers until the Isha prayers. Dozens of teachers, students, and other citizens took part in the meeting to know more about the founder of Darululoom Zahedan.

Some of the teachers and students presented their essays, speeches and poems in order to highlight the different sides of the personality of late Mawlana Abdol-Aziz. ‘Biography and Services of Mawlana Abdol-Aziz’, ‘The History of Baluchistan before and after Mawlana Abdol-Aziz,’ ‘Political Services of Mawlana Abdol-Aziz to the Nation’ and some likewise articles with similar titles were presented by the students.

In this honorable meeting, Molawi Sanaullah Shahnawaz, sub-editor of Nedaye Islam magazine, presented an article with the title of ‘Mawlana Abdol-Aziz as Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid Introduces’.

It is noteworthy, Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Abd-ur-Rahman Mohebbi, a senior Hadith teacher at Darululoom Zahedan, and Mufti Muhammad Qasem Qasemi, head of Darul-iftaa Darululoom Zahedan and chief editor of Darululoom Zahedan were the special guests of the meeting. They shared their opinions on the academic, political and social status of Mawlana Abdol-Aziz who had brought a religious revolution in the region.
