Iranian authorities should intervene to oust Bashar al-Assad

The outstanding Sunni leader, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed, alluded to the wave of Islamism across the globe in his latest Friday sermon, 14th December, stating, “Praise is due to Allah, a huge number of people wants Islam now-a-days; out of expectation, we listen the voice of “Allah-u-Akbar” from other places. May Allah liberate Palestine and al-Quds completely.”

Pointing out to the ongoing changes take place in Syria, Khateeb of Sunnis said, “I want to advise the Iranian rulers and authorities over the current alterations of Syria. Most parts of this country have been taken over by the Syrian opposition, and the majority of nations around the world recognized the leading opposition bloc as the legitimate representative of Syrian nation. On the other side, Russia, the main supporter of Bashar al-Assad admitted it is very possible opposition fighters to achieve victory. Days of Bashar al-Assad are counted; so I would like to recommend Iranian rulers to intercede and ask Mr. al-Assad to resign. He should stop the bloodshed and demolition of Syria.”

“I believe, this move of Iran would bring Allah’s pleasure firstly, and it would protect our national interests in Syria. Iranian nation has some interests in Damascus; Iran must take useful steps to preserve them,” the member of the IUMS underlined.

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah added more saying Iran has been supporting the crumbling regime of al-Assad; if the authorities play a good role to oust Bashar al-Assad, it will have positive effects in the Muslim and Arab world. This motion may save the national interests of Iran in future.
