Members of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria said that Syrian regime’s making statements on amnesty, dialogue or reform without doing anything only misled the public opinion.
Opposition groups did not give credit to Syria’s amnesty announcement ahead of the week when Arab League will discuss military intervention in the country.
Opposition groups said that they did not believe in Syrian’s announcement of general amnesty as it made such announcements earlier.
A notification released by the Muslim Brotherhood said that Syrian regime must release at least 100,000 political detainees in Syria to show it was serious in its offer for general amnesty.
The statement said no one returned to their families in earlier amnesties announced by the Syrian regime.
