Iran: 10th National Competition of Hifz & Qiraa’h held in Zahedan

ZAHEDAN- The tenth national competition of hifz and Qiraa’h (memorizing & well recitation of the Qur’an) was held in Darululoom Zahedan which continued from 17 May to 20 May 2011.

“SunniOnline” has reported that the spiritual function of competition was started in morning of Tuesday, 17 May and was continued till Friday 20 May.
More than 160 students (kids & youth) belonging to various Sunni seminaries of the Sistan-Balochistan, Hormozgan, Boushehr, Fars, Khorasan-e-Razawi, Khorasan-e-Junoubi and Golistan provinces of the country took part in the competition function.
The participators competed in memorizing the complete, 20 and 10 parts of holy Qur’an where a group of Qurra’ competed as well.
The function concluded its activities on Friday in grand Makki mosque of Zahedan. Medals and prizes were distributed among the winners who achieved first, second and third positions in each section.
