KURDISTAN: The Iranian authorities last week detained two members of “Maktab-e-Quran Movement of Kurdistan” from Baneh city of Kurdistan, western Iran.
“Sunnionline” quoted from a Kurdish web wire that last week on Tuesday, 4th January, after 1:00 A.M the policemen and security officials of “Baneh” searched out homes of Usman Abdi and Yassen Qaderi, the members of Maktab-e-Quran Movement (educational organization of Allama Ahmad Muftizadeh’s followers).
It is added more in the mentioned report that the intelligence officials arrested some Sunni activists as their personal computers and official documents have been taken. After they were shifted to the central jail of Sanandaj, Iran.
According to “Isalamkurd”, some days ago a meeting was held in Baneh city by the title of “Examination of Deviational Sects” for teachers of Arabic language and Islamic subjects. Thus including other scholars the arrested persons took part too in the state-supported meeting where a Shiite cleric blasphemed some prominent ulama and scholars of Ahl-us-Sunna wal Jama’ah, as well as such Shiite cleric ridiculed some beliefs of Sunni Muslims on the name of criticism of “Wahhabism”. Following the offensive and hatred words of the Shiite scholar, some of the participators walked out in protest of his insulting act.
Local news websites reported that the main reason of Usman Abdi and Yaseen Qaderi’s arrest is their walk out and protest to the offenses of Shiite cleric over Sunnis’ beliefs!!
