Pressure continues, the passport of Shar’i judge of Kurdistan confiscated

KURDISTAN: The Iranian authorities have confiscated an other passport of a prominent Kurd Sunni scholar, Kak Hasan Amini, his personal tools and hand drafts were taken in the government control.

A regional website, Naji Kurd, has reported that “Shar’i Qadhi” of Kurdistan, Iran and senior leader of the “Islamic Movement of Quranic Seminaries of Kurdistan”, Mullah Hasan Amini and a teacher of “Imam Bukhari School” of Sanandaj, Kurdistan were coming back from the United Arab Emirates where the Iranian authorities detained their personal means and passports on Saturday, 13 November. The security officials kept them in prison for few hours and banned on their abroad travels.
Lately the government returned some Baloch scholars from Tehran International Airport  where they wanted to leave for Turkey to take part in an Islamic conference held in Istanbul. It should be kept in mind that the Iranian authorities had confiscated few months ago the passports of the head of Darululoom Zahedan, Mawlana Abdul Hameed and his close relatives Haji Abd-ur-Raheem and Hafedh Ismaeel.
Analysts believe that embargo on abroad travels of Kurd scholars is a part of fresh series of pressure on Sunni Muslim scholars of Iran.
The top leaders and scholars of Sunnis in Iran have expressed their deep regret and confusion over the confiscation of the scholars’ passports.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed said that every one would come to know that Sunni scholars are not allowed to take part in Islamic and academic conferences outside of Iran. Shaikh Muhammad Husain Gurgij condemned such forbiddance and said that it is a disgrace for Iran and the government will face the negative impact of ban on Sunni scholars.
The official website of “Maktab-e-Quran Kurdistan” has written in this regard, “It is quite clear that such embargo violate the basic legal rights of Sunni citizens as it would be the reason of Iran’s infamy outside of the country.”
Now it would be observed that the series of pressure how much would continue more?
