After recitation the Quranic verse “لقد كان لكم في رسول اللَه أسوة حسنة لمن كان يرجو اللَه واليوم الآَخر وذكر اللَه كثيراً” ،(Indeed in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much) the imam and Khatib of Makki mosque requested the people to replicate the manners of holy prophet (PBUH), he said the closet person to Allah almighty that is the last messenger of Allah Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, only he is the modal for us until the day of judgment ,certainly our holy prophet (PBUH) had very good-looking but Allah almighty created his inner more attractive than his appearance, and it is God’s blessing to be given nice-looking as Almighty Allah him self says that “Verily, We created man in the best form” but it is also clear that it is God gifted there is no interference to have nice form, besides this nice looking each human being has inner side, it is made beautiful, attractive, and pretty, he would desire to be called actual human, thus Allah almighty ordered us to copy the beautiful manners of his last apostle Mohammad صلی اللہ علیہ وسلمas the above mentioned Quranic verse declared that none can be modal for the man community except the holy prophet (PBUH).
Respected Shaikh more said that all the messengers were model for their nations in order to be copied their manners, as well as their lives would be the best examples for every one, rather their lives were the best examples and the complete guidance for every individual of their nations, finally the last apostle of God came and he made known the good manners and nice ethics, once the mother of faithful Sayda Ayisha (RA) was asked about the manners of holy prophet (PBUH), she had replied that “ his manners were Quran” obviously it points out that she had the better understanding, good thinking, and nice knowledge.
The great Sunni leader added more: “If we search all the biography of the total history of important personalities of the world, rather we can say the history of the whole prophets if searched so we would find out that the biography of our holy prophet (PBUH) is the best example, and the holy Quran is the best book which collected all the good manners of him (PBUH), rather he (PBUH) was practical interpretation of greatest book the holy Quran.”
The head of the largest Sunni school pointed out towards some of the Quranic manners as they are following:
And those who shun the greater sins, and Al-Fawahish, and when they are angry, they forgive. And those who answer the Call of their Lord, and perform the Salah, and who (conduct) their affairs by mutual consultation, and who spend of what we have bestowed on them.)
1, forgiveness: this verse means, their nature dictates that they should forgive people and be tolerant. Vengeance is not in their nature. It was reported in the Sahih that the Messenger of Allah never took revenge for his own sake, only when the sacred Laws of Allah were violated.
2, listen to Allah’s call: means, they follow His Messenger and obey His commands and avoid that which He has prohibited.
3, consulting: means, they do not make a decision without consulting one another on the matter so that they can help one another by sharing their ideas concerning issues such as wars and other matters. Obviously two heads are better than one head, it was our prophet’s manner to leave his own thought due to a good thought of others.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed added more that if we want to progress, and to succeed here and hereafter, we have to follow the enlightened life of holy prophet (PBUH), in the same way we have to know how the prophet (PBUH) spent his day and night? How he took consultation from his companions? How he spent in the way of Allah almighty?
Our prophet (PBUH) used not to sit like other kings sit on their throne, even when a new person comes to them he would not know who is the prophet among them? Because he liked never to be ceremonious in his life, rather he lived a very simple life, as the holy prophet (PBUH) during his migration to Madinah Munawwarah the inhabitants of Madina Munawwarah didn’t identify that who is the prophet between two persons? But when Abu Bakr(RA) put a sheet on the holy prophet (PBUH) then they recognized him صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم.
“Holy prophet (PBUH) had divided his times in to three parts: (a) to worship Allah almighty, (b) to join his family, (c) to listen the public problems, he respected the elders, and he (PBUH) respected them according to their grades and their status, when a person would talk to him (PBUH) he never broke his talk, rather he would hear him with a complete intention, our holy prophet (PBUH)was the bravest of men, most patient of them, and a good commander in the battles against the enemies of Islam. At the end of his speech Shaikh said: the total life of holy prophet (PBUH) is a good example for us, as he (PBUH) never rejected any beggar, he never loved to collect money or to store these worldly things, rather he (PBUH) was the most generous of people in charity and tried all the time to help the needy persons by his wealth, or by other ways; as Uqba bin Haris (RA) narrates that holy prophet (PBUH) lead us Asar prayer one day and did it in very hurry, then he entered to his home and came out in no time, Uqba says: I asked him or he was asked about the reason? The holy prophet (PBUH) replied, I left some of the gold at home, so I did not like to keep it more in my home thus I divided it among the people”, he added.
Shaikh said it is very painful thing that we are Muslims and we know the biography of holy prophet (PBUH) very well but we do not follow him in our practical life, the good manners are more valuable deeds and heavier deeds in the day of judgment, so it is very important to copy the manners of holy prophet (PBUH).
