The eminent Sunni leader and khateeb of Zahedan’s Makki masjid began his sermon by recitation of the Quranic verse: يا أَيها النَاس قَد جاءتكم موعظة من ربكم وشفاء لما في الصدور وهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين. قل بفَضل الله وبرحمته فبذلك فليفرحوا هو خير مما يجمعون”، وقوله تعالى “وما أرسلنك إلا رحمة للعالمين”,And talked about the status of holy Quran and the life of last messenger of Allah almighty, as he said, “Before the holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) the prophets were sent only to their nations/ tribes and just for a particular period, thus their instructions were restricted to that specific time, but our great prophet Mohammad صلی اللہ علیه وسلم was sent to wards the whole world, whether they are Arab, or none Arab, in the same way his prophet hood was not restricted to a particular part of time rather he صلی اللہ علیه وسلم was sent for the entire world as well as for every period of time.”
Mawlan Abdul Hameed added that it is a very advanced, developed and the modern technology era but the holy Quran has been revealed having no difference of each kind of time, moderately is completed with every necessary instruction and heavenly guidance, thus it is a blessing of God, and it is a perfect guide line for every one and forever.
Talking about other divine religions respected Shaikh said, “All the divine religions were linked there was no difference in the roots of them, just their minor subsidiary instructions were taught them in a different way because of different conditions of their worships, e.g.: observing prayers, fasting, giving Zakat, performing Haj and other worships were commonly found in previous nations but there methodology of worship was different; as it is narrated in one Hadeeth, all the prophets are brothers among them, their mothers are different but their task is one.
In the last all the human beings were gifted the wide, perfect and great religion of holy prophet, Islam which would remain until to the dooms day. No one has any other option except to follow this Shariah (religion).”
Pointing towards the virtues of holy prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) the head of Darululoom Zahedan more added that the prophet Muhammad was not the prophet of fighting or warfare rather he was the prophet of peace and harmony, it is true that our holy prophet (PBUH) fought against arrogant people and cruel kings in order to maintain peace and create no disturbance on the earth. If we study the history we would find that wars were fought against none Muslims of Makkah who exiled the prophet of Allah from his berth place, as well as against those who intended to attack Madina monawwarah and against the Arabs who came out to besiege the Madina monawwarh, it is true Islamic forces fought against two super powers, Rome and Persia; because of their arrogance, cruelty and snatching public rights, as well as they were afraid of spreading of Islam religion so they had come together to stop it’s spreading and to upset it’s system but Allah had intended to bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate as the holy Quran says: [ يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُواْ نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَهِهِمْ]( They intend to put out the Light of Allah with their mouths) ْ [وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَـفِرُونَ]( But Allah will bring His Light to perfection even though the disbelievers hate).
Respected Shaikh continued saying, “Jihad is not done against those who want to maintain peace on the earth as Allah almighty says: “وَإِنْ جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْمِ فَاجْنَحْ لَهَا”(But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it) then Almighty God says “وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا أَنْ يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ اللَّه”( And if they intend to deceive you, then verily, Allah is All-Sufficient for you) it is untrue that Islam teaches fighting against none Muslims absolutely; there were a lot of Christians who lived in Islamic countries and their needs were fulfilled accurately, their bodies and wealth were saved. History witnesses that all the wars were fought against cruel kings, arrogant and those who snatched the public rights.
Shaikh Abdul Hameed pointed towards the message of holy Quran, as it calls the people: “ياأيها الناس قد جاءتكم موعظة من ربكم وشفاء لما في الصدور”(O mankind! There hath come to you an admonition from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts and for those who believe Guidance and a Mercy.) It is clear that this greatest holy book is advise for mankind, it is cure for all the diseases of human beings whether they are spiritual diseases or physical ones, in the same way it is guidance and blessing of God, as the holy prophet Mohammad (PBUH) him self is greatest blessing of God, as well as the divine sayings are also great blessing of Allah almighty. This greatest holy book is the last heavenly book we can find the solution of every mater by searching in it. It is impossible to get success with out following holy Quran and the life of holy prophet (PBUH) our prophet did not live like other kings, wealthy persons or arrogant ones, rather he (PBUH) lived like a poor man and like a passenger. His life was very simple life, he was very unceremonious, some times his companions expressed their views before him so he did not feel any shame to accept their thoughts; he used to take consultation from them in both worldly and hereafter things. Then his respected clean wives followed the life of holy prophet (PBUH), he was great leader in every field of life world did not see like him, then his companions followed him absolutely.
The eminent Sunni scholar further said that all cultures around the world got benefits of Quran instructions, but it is very sorrowful that there are some people in the world who hate this holy greatest book, some of them hate the holy prophet (PBUH (and in fact these two are from the greatest blessings of God almighty, certainly both of them are the main sources of success here and hereafter.
Shaikh said more, “There is a proverb that barking dogs can not make moon dark, by saying such mean words such people are asking Allah to give them punishment very early, we believe that holy Quran will be shining as well as the life of prophet will be followed more and more.”
At the end of his speech Shaikh said that there are some other people who declare them selves Muslims but they hate the wives of prophet (PBUH) as Quran says the prophet’s wives are the mothers of the whole ummah, but such persons say by their actions that it is not true; because the entire Ulema got agreed that Sayyida Aayisha (may Allah be pleased with her) is the wife of holy prophet (PBUH), her respect is a part of our believes, after such full explanations how can they have courage to say such mean words about such a great Islamic personality.
